OK I think I understand now. Your email specifically mentioned front end options, and there are specific menu item overrides for each menu item, which will come into play when a menu item is created. The component parameters act as a 'backup' setting to use if the Issue Tracker menu parameter have never been stored, which they usually are.

So for example I have enabled the display of 'child links#' on the issue list display. I first changed them on the component and could see that the menu settings must have been saved since there was no apparent changed even after clearing cache etc. Once I changed the menu item settings for the issue list display the child links are now visible.

This is explained in the documentation but is easily missed. If this does not explain the situation please let me know,

Geoff

Hello Geoff,

Sorry for my previous post! its by mistake.

Coming to the point.. Thanks a lot for your reply. Really I missed the option while creating the menu. I guess you can include an option "Use global" in next release.

I will have a look around and let you know.

As of now, I noticed one thing.. "Show identified date filter" is not visible in the front end filter.

Also, how to disable "WYSIWYG editor" for registered users.

Sorry for the late reply.

Control of the editor is via a component option 'WYSIWYG' control.

The display of the date filter is also a configuration option on the menu (and/or) component itself. In you case it is the menu option you need to check.

Will review the use for a 'global' field for a later release when time permits.

Geoff
