Password Control 0.1.2 released

Password Control system plugin release 0.1.2 for Joomla 2.5 and 3.3.

This update adds support for the additional password encryption mechanisms introduced in Joomla 3.3. It also adds a few new requested options. The first is to extend the ability of 'exempt' users to be able to reuse their previous passwords. The second is the ability to hide the 'username', 'name' and/or 'email' fields in the front end User Profile Edit form. Not all sites use or permit users to change these fields so their presence in the form is superfluous.  Additionally there is now the ability to specify an additional field to supply information to the user, such as the details of the required password criteria.

One other change is the provision of an alternative dialog modal window for sites that may be using a Bootstrap front end template that implements the 'mmenu' jQuery plugin, used for mobile menu displays. A conflict was discovered between the 'mmenu' code and the 'jQuery-ui' dialog code that caused the password generator window to freeze. The additional 'jQuery.bootstrap' plugin avoids this problem.

The release is available in the download area.
