Issue Tracker 1.6.5 released.

We are pleased to announce the availability of Issue Tracker release 1.6.5 for Joomla 2.5 & 3.3

This minor release corrects a few problems discovered in the earlier release, and continues with the implementation of some suggested improvements from our users.

There are a few notable requested features in this release that deserve special mention.

The first is an integration with AcySMS to enable the sending of SMS notifications.  This initial feature requires that the administrator specifies the phone number (for the SMS message) for the recipients. The user has no ability to specify provide the details.  This will be one of the improvements for a later release.

The second is the ability for registered users to be able to download issue attachments in the front end.  This has been discused in the forum so it is suggested that this is referred to, along with the updated product documentation.

There is a new 'custom field type' of checkbix also implemented, not to forget the ability to assign specific issue types (Defect, Enhancement, Suggestion, etc.) to specific projects.

See the changelog for details of all of the changes.

The update is available in the download area.
