Hello. This is recent and it is after doing joomla update to 2.5.9 and virtuemart 2.0.18a (now updated 2.0.20a)

When I click on a user to adjust their settings it will not load a project to set as default. I have checked projects and even created a new one to see if that would get picked up in the drop down with no luck. I went to the configuration and there I cannot select a project either.

Next issue I am facing is the drop down sort list is not doing anything. I get the usual X on the browser it refreshes and no change.

I don't ask if I can find the answer on my own.

Very strange.

From your description I am led to believe that there may be a problem with the it_projects table entries.

First a few questions. Was this a fresh install of Issue tracker, or an upgrade from a previous version? If an upgrade did the problem occur prior to the upgrade?

You mention updating Joomla to 2.5.9 and Virtuemart but can I assume Issue tracker was working OK prior to these upgrades, or was Issue Tracker also upgraded as the same time? I/we are not aware of any Joomla 2.5.9 problems with Issue Tracker, indeed we run that version ourselves.

Is the problem with the sort list also referring to the projects or to one of the other items one could sort upon? I am assuming that this is also related to projects and that it is a back end problem? [We are aware of a problem with all of the drop down sort lists on the back end people list display and a fix is available, however this does not inpact the selection of a default project for an individual.]

What is the version of Issue Tracker in use 1.2.2 or 1.3.0?

To progress this I need some additional information. Would it be possible to send be a CSV dump of the contents of the it_projects table? I want to see how the entries are set up in the table. Alternatively a screen display of the projects table may suffice, but may not show me all the information I need. Another option if you have access to the SQL table itself is to perform a select on the #__it_projects table and send the output to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..

As an aside have you tried loading the sample data and if so does the same problem occur with the sample projects? These projects should be created in the it_projects table correctly, so if the same problems occurs it may give an indication of where to look further for the cause.
