Yes the main functionality is available through the front end. This includes the creation and upkeep of Rialto entries, and also the ability to send a message to the entry owner.

No. The component uses standard Joomla functionality, no core files are changes.
The main supported language is English. We welcome any submitted language translations that users might like to contribute. These would then be made available to the whole community.
The component is now using the Transifex system and there are a few additional languages being provided. Please see the appropriate pages on the site for details of the currently available translations.
An entry can have the usual published/unpublished state, which ultimately controls whether the entry is visible in the front end. In additional an entry has an 'expired' flag which works in conjunction with the 'state' flag. An entry may become expired when it has been displayed for more than the specified visibility period (expressed in days). Once expired the entry is no longer visible in the front end as it is also 'unpublished'.
Depending upon the component settings when an entry 'expires' it may also be automatically deleted. If not automatically deleted it is possible to change the entry flags in the back end. If an 'expired' entry is re-enabled, it is not necessarily made visible again.
