Chapter 5. Back End Usage.

From the back end it is possible to create and otherwise control the various entries, although it is most commonly expected that the front end would be most frequently used. If installed upon a Joomla Multilingual site, depending upon the Joomla configuration, additional tabs and options may be displayed.

Dashboard

The Dashboard is the starting point and provides easy access to the various individual components. It consists of a Details Panel, some icons for the most common access points and the usual links on the right hand side of the page.

Details Tab

The about tab on the Details panel shows the current release version, a change log button, which when clicked will display the changes made to this version, and a donations to enable the administrators to make a suitable donation to the component developer to encourage further development. There is (currently) no charge for the component but if found useful, you are encouraged to make a donation.

Clicking upon the 'Paypal' button creates a window where it is possible to make a donation to the author to assist in support and future enhancements.

The change log is displayed in a 'popup' window when the button is pressed. This window displays the list of all the changes that have been made to this specific version of the component.

Credits

The 'credits' tab displays the various contributors and assets from third parties that have helped in the development of the component. The contents of this tab are populated from the developers web site so the information should always be up to date.

The other purpose of the display is to thank all the people who have contributed their time and efforts in assisting in creating language translations for the component. Their time is given freely and their work is available for download upon our site for installing upon the your own web site. The list is loaded from our web site and hence is 'up to date' with the latest available translations.
