I have the extension working, powerful, just a question how does a user delete an issue? In the back end I just trash it? Yes
Is there a paid version of the extension ?

There is no feature to allow a user to delete an issue. They can always update the issue and say that the issue is resolved.
The 'delete' is restricted to either the back end, where one can trash it, as you have discovered, or an issue admin has the ability to delete an issue in the front end.

The rationale was that an issue contains information to resolve a 'problem' and hence may/will contain information that may aid in resolving future/other problems, acting in this way as a form of 'knowledge' base of problems. Restricting the 'delete' to the back end and issue administrators enables the administrators of the component to keep issues that are or may be relevant to the 'knowledge base'.

We do not have a paid version of the component, but do accept donations from those who find the component useful and would like to fund further development. We are obviously more inclined to listen to enhancement requests from those that have chosen to donate.
