German Translation at Transifex

Hi Geoff

I did some translation work yesterday and it seems as if 100% of the terms are now translated. Nevertheless I found some terms where the English text was simply copied to the German textarea. I will go through all terms as soon as possible and will translate what still needs to be translated. By the way: unfortunately there seems to exist no appropriate German word for "issue". None crossed my mind. But I'm convinced there is nobody in this country who understands "issue" except IT specialists.

Regards
Chris

Thank you for your translation work. I have updated our zip file to incorporate the changes.

Re the topic of 'issue'. Looking at a thesaurus for other possible definitions it comes up with these:

Synonyms for issue - noun point in question

affair argument concern controversy matter point problem question subject
topic contention puzzle
matter of contention .

Possibly the easiest is to use the term 'problem', which is what I see you have chosen, and it probably covers most cases I suspect..

I accomplished my translation work a minute ago. I often kept the term "issue" since it is very accurate for IT purposes. "Problem" is more comprehensible to customers but according to ITIL it is not quite correct.

Thanks again. Kind regards
Chris
