Hi There,

I have just installed the extension and when trying to access the contro panel I receive the error below:

500 Layout default not found

Please advise how to fix this.

Thanks,

Can you provide a few more details of the configuration, versions etc. for the Joomla version, admin template in use, version of Issue tracker.

I have not seen this problem reported before so the more details you can provide will assist in getting a resolution.

Geoff

I have had something similar reported.

in that case an install on a fresh Joomla 3.1.5 worked but on an upgraded J! 2.5 the error was showing.

Hence I am wondering if it is the actual constructed URL that is at fault?

What is (are) the URL(s) that cause the error?

The other problem looks to be a conflict between Issue Tracker and another component installed. We are investigating if we can pin it down to one of three possible 'other' components causing the problem. Unfortunately given the vast number of 'other' components it is not possible to test against all possibilities.

Just a quick question. Do you have K2 installed on the site?

The versions seem sound. Very strange since I have installed many times without seeing this problem.

It almosts sounds like the install has failed. Are any of the other views accessible? i.e. projects, issues, etc.

I will try a few more tests, but at the moment I cannot think of any reason why it can't find the cpanel view. Could you check to se whether the files have actually been loaded into the file system. i.e. Does the directory and files administrator/components/com_isuetracker/views/cpanel/tmpl
