Searching for issues was created by rmacias
Besides list all issues is there a way to search for a specific issue by its information?

The contents of the Issue summary and the issue description are both candidates for searching as well as the issue alias, using either the standard Joomla search or the smart search (finder) component. Progress records are not searched. The reason for this is mainly since teh progress records may contain information that you may not want made visible to a general search.

I forgot to mention that the 'resolution_summary' is also searchable. One other thing is to ensure that the required issue tracker search plugin is also enabled.

Marking topic as resolved.

It is enabled using the standard Joomla manage->plugins screens.

Enable which ever search plugin you wish to use. Then it will be available in the appropriate search results.
